Description of AMLP
Alerian MLP ETF (AMLP) seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the Alerian MLP Infrastructure Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index is comprised of energy infrastructure MLPs that earn a majority of their cash flow from the transportation, storage and processing of energy commodities.
